Back 2 Ypsilanti (you choose the theme)
Ugh, so we had a meeting last Wednesday at lunch (like we do every Wednesday at lunch) but only about 3 people showed up.
We decided we wanted to do a ride to Ypsilanti. However, after consideration by me and many of the other PBRS members (basically everyone besides Matt Mayfield), I decided that we should not ride that far. It doesn’t seem like people are up for it.
Instead, we are going...

PBRS Suxxx
Hey today’s ride really sucked and it wasn’t fun at all. It was a waste of time.
It was nice to see Jeff and Tim though.
note to self: plan the rides ahead of time.
sorry ary, zac zellers

the 'dress like Aryeh's dad, hello Tim' ride
Howdy yall, last week we had our first ride of the season and the turnout was pretty great. We went to the Salvation Army and went through some dangerous tunnels and woods and train tracks to get there. It was truly a ride 2 remember.
This Saturday, October 17th, is also a ride.
dress like Aryeh’s dad (t-shirts that you got for free OR something old fashioned and classy-like)
hello Tim...

tv and radio public service announcement- riding...
deanparrish:
Bicycle riding has been a great American past time for well over a century. These days, bicycles have been finding popularity all over the world, and especially here in our home country. A typical bicyclist is a young male, over the age of 16 who is riding through an urban area on a nice summer evening.. without a helmet. This “typical” bicyclist is also the “typical” victim to get...

things we accomplished at PBRS today
There will be a ride on October 17th. Details pending.
There will not be a ride this Saturday.
All members are encouraged to bring their friends to the next meeting. We need more bikerz.
Design a poster.
I feel like today’s meeting was pretty comfortable. I feel better about E-103 than last year’s C-205.
So ah, Wednesdays at lunch in room E-103 is the new standard.
love, little...

Tim Pincikowski Memorial Ride
Tim Pincikowski was a Saline resident who was struck and killed by a car at the corner of Maple and Ellsworth in Pittsfield Township on July 28, 2009. This ride will have Ann Arbor and Pittsfield Township Police escorts, will leave from Pioneer High School (the Park & Ride lot) on Main Street, just south of Stadium Boulevard, in Ann Arbor. The ride will leave at 5 PM, travel the approximate...
The "I'm Disappointed in You, Jeff" Ride
Jeff Smith, our official society photographer, is making the stupid decision to pursue higher education. Not only this, but he’s MOVING away to go to a university that’s NOT in Ann Arbor.
Normally, PBRS would not tolerate or pander to any behavior like that, but since Jeff is our dear friend, we’re just gonna give him a little slap on the wrist by forcing him to ride his bike in...

Bye Tim Ride
It’s the PBRS BTR!
Tim is moving to some American colony in Maryland or Delaware or something at the end of this month and we’re all gonna miss him so much…
So, to mourn the moving-away of a dear friend, the Pioneer Bicycle Riders Society is going to throw him a big celebration to show that we love him lotz.
The plan is for TUESDAY, JULY 28TH:
meet at the clocktower of...

BIKE NIGHT at Top of the Park
July 1st is “bike night” and Top of the Park is showing one of my favorite animated movies, The Triplets of Belleville, which sort of revolves around bicycles.
So, I thought it would be good idea to plan a bike ride around that night. The movie starts at 10 PM, so I thought maybe we could meet up at the ol’ Pioneer High School clocktower at 8, ride around, maybe get some ice...

LAST LUNCH!
Tomorrow is our last PBRS lunch meeting.
It’s in room C205, so forget about my romantic ambitions about holding it outside.
Make it good!

There is a ride on May 30th, and it's all about...
Unfortunately, the original time has changed from 7pm to the classic 1pm. It was a selfish move on my part, but I just found out yesterday that my uncle (from Reno, Nevada!) and pep-pep are coming to pick me up in Ann Arbor and we’re having supper together Saturday evening. I really wanted to go on the ride, so I just changed the time. Sorry for those of you who were counting on the 7pm...

The Lunch Meeting on May 27th...
will NOT be in the usual location of C-205; instead, we will be taking advantage of the lovely weather by holding our meetings outside!
The location is sort of hard to explain, since I don’t think there is a concrete name for it. If you know where the library on D-2 is, then it should be easy. Outside (like outdoors) of that little lobby area in front of the library, there are some bike...

WORST RIDE EVER!
Our last ride was seriously the worst.
Thanks to everyone who showed up. And thanks to Matthew for driving me to his house to treat my wounds after the big crash.
Things I’m sorry for:
the ride being so short
the rain
making everyone cry
Deepest regrets,
Zac Zellers
ps: thanks Jeff for coming to take a picture even though you were sick. You’re a photo trooper.

Wiiiiild West!
Well howdy partners! PBRS is having an Olde West style ride tomorrow, and we was hoping y’all could get dressed up in your best bib and tucker, hop on your bike saddle, and head on out to the ol’ PHS Clocktower at 1pm tomorrow.
Dean Parrish is the sherriff in town and he’s huntin’ for the most wanted outlaws in the whole wide west!
So come on out, we don’t care if...
the PBRS Luau Party!!
That’s right! After we came to the consensus that our rides needed to be themed at our last meeting, Aryeh came up with the brilliant idea of a Hawaiian themed ride. If this goes well, we can start having more themed rides like “Bicycles in the Olde West” and “Bikerz in Space”!
The person with the best themed costume will win a pineapple, so be creative!
I almost...

At our first meeting...
…the following notions were aknowledged:
Introductions of all the members
Mixing 1 part skim milk with 1 part whole milk yields 2 parts 2% milk
Also, our first bike ride will be on SATURDAY, MARCH 28. We will meet up at the clock tower at Pioneer on our bikes. We will depart to our to-be-determined destination by 4:30 pm— try and get there at 4 though.
Thanks to everyone who showed...

AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ALL PBRS MEMBERZ
If you see any large bright-green posters in the hallways advertsising for college visits, please do not hesitate to tear them off, crumple them up into a ball, and throw them into a nearby trashcan. They have the “Ann Arbor Public Schools” seal on the bottom left. They also have shown a blatant disregard for other posters in the halls (as in, they did this to a PBRS poster).
Thank...

TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY!
That’s right, March 26th is 14 days away. And now that the MMEs are over for you juniors, there’s NO excuse for not devoting the entirety of these next two weeks to getting super-hype and telling all your friends about our first meeting.
Also, despite the posters up around the halls, I’ve still been getting a lot of questions asking when the society will start. So again,...
