Back 2 Ypsilanti (you choose the theme)
Ugh, so we had a meeting last Wednesday at lunch (like we do every Wednesday at lunch) but only about 3 people showed up.
We decided we wanted to do a ride to Ypsilanti. However, after consideration by me and many of the other PBRS members (basically everyone besides Matt Mayfield), I decided that we should not ride that far. It doesn’t seem like people are up for it.
Instead, we are going to have an Ypsilanti ‘themed’ ride. I’m not sure what this means. I don’t know where we will ride to. Basically a normal PBRS ride.
- meet at the PHS clocktower at 1pm sharp
- Dominos Pizza was founded in Ypsilanti (pizza theme?)
- Iggy Pop is from Yspilanti (Stooges theme?)
- Lee Osler’s “Back to Ypsilanti” (One-hit-wonder theme?)
- Avant-garde noise-rock band Wolf Eyes is from Ypsilanti (noise theme?)
- … or anything else from Ypsi.
See you tomorrow!
Classy themed ride details:
- Saturday April 3rd, 1pm
- Clock tower entrance
- formal-wear

PBRS Suxxx
Hey today’s ride really sucked and it wasn’t fun at all. It was a waste of time.

the ‘dress like Aryeh’s dad, hello Tim’ ride
Howdy yall, last week we had our first ride of the season and the turnout was pretty great. We went to the Salvation Army and went through some dangerous tunnels and woods and train tracks to get there. It was truly a ride 2 remember.
This Saturday, October 17th, is also a ride.
- dress like Aryeh’s dad (t-shirts that you got for free OR something old fashioned and classy-like)
- hello Tim (Tim Martin is back for a weekend and this ride is 4 Him)
- 1pm at the clocktower
- BIKES!
- GIRLS!
- SATURDAY!
- Bring all of your favorite Tim things or give him the card that you meant to give him at the “Bye Tim Ride” over the summer.
- BE THERE!!!
NOTE: We will NOT be going to Old Country Buffet ever again.

tv and radio public service announcement- riding without a helmet
Bicycle riding has been a great American past time for well over a century. These days, bicycles have been finding popularity all over the world, and especially here in our home country. A typical bicyclist is a young male, over the age of 16 who is riding through an urban area on a nice summer evening.. without a helmet. This “typical” bicyclist is also the “typical” victim to get hit and killed by a motor vehicle when riding on a major road between intersections. Are you going to be the “typical” victim? How could you prevent this from happening when you’re on a ride? Strap on that helmet and you’ll have little to worry about. Injuries due to riding without a helmet have gone up 10% since 1991. Go on riding bicycles through your urban areas, on the seasonal summer evenings with friends or just on your own- [just please remember to throw on that helmet before you get buck wild on your bike.]
A friendly reminder from Dean Parrish.
